Shaykh Abdus Shakur Brookers is a Canadian teacher from Toronto. He has studied in Mazharatul-Uloom and under various other scholars from West Africa, Yemen, Syria, Turkey and Egypt giving him a wealth of knowledge.

Abdus Shakur was a full-time ESL teacher in Taiwan which has given him the crucial skills to explain ideas and concepts of texts in a very clear way giving the ustadh a unique skill. Abdus Shakur converted to Islam in 1998 and since then has never looked back.
