Aptamil and Cow and Gate are sister companies so you may find ingredients to be similar. You can read on Cow and Gate products here.
Aptamil have gone to the effort of labelling every product with whether it is Suitable for vegetarians or Halal. They confirm the ingredients are the same within the same product range, and the only reason they are not halal approved because some products are made in a different factory.
Some products are NOT Halal certified but this is only due to the Islamic Body IIJU not having visited the premisers some products are made. However Aptamil confirm processes in both sets of factories are the same including the ingredients. So we are happy to say all the range is Halal.
We will base the list on what Aptamil confirm and allow you to decide whether each product is halal. It’s also worth noting, Aptamil class using Fish oils and Lactose (milk) in products as unsuitable for vegetarians.
You may also notice the products contain Taurine, Aptamil confirm this is synthetic.
