Below, you can find a list of notable Islamic Companions, Followers, Scholars, Jurists, Quran Scholars, Hadith Scholars, Seerah Scholars, Scientists, Caliphs and Sufis in order, arranged by birth CE. May Allah’s mercy be upon them all.

Many of these are from the Islamic golden age, and a great reference point for all students of knowledge and teachers. We’ve included in the CE and Hijri dates. Please note actual dates may be a year or two out.

The list can be used as a reference point when we speak and read about Islamic personalities.

In future, we intend to expand the list with female scholars, scientists, etc. You can view our Biography page on modern Scholars.
